Píñar is a small municipality in the Vega de Granada comarca, and like hundreds of similarly sized Spanish towns, it issued emergency fractional paper during the Civil War to address the near-total disappearance of small coinage from 1936 onward. The Consejo Municipal designation places this squarely within the Republican administrative structure — the traditional ayuntamiento having been reorganized under wartime governance.
The Gari Mon reference is unassigned, which typically signals a note documented in regional collections but not yet fully catalogued in the standard corpus. Survivors from Píñar are scarce enough that auction appearances are essentially unrecorded.
