Colomera is a small municipality in Granada province, and like hundreds of Spanish towns, it issued its own fractional emergency notes during the Civil War after the Republic's small change supply collapsed in 1936–37. These hyper-local emissions were often produced with whatever printing resources existed in the town itself — a local press, a rubber stamp, sometimes little more than a typewriter and an official seal.
The Gari Monet reference places this firmly within the documented Andalusian municipal series, though surviving examples from Colomera are genuinely uncommon given the town's small population and the informal conditions under which these notes were issued and redeemed.
