Aldeire is a small municipality in Granada province, and like hundreds of similarly sized Spanish towns, its local council issued emergency fractional currency during the Civil War when Republican-zone small change effectively vanished from circulation. The Consejo Municipal series from this region was never produced in quantity — print runs were typically minimal, distributed within the township and rarely traveling far. Many issues were handstamped, rubber-printed, or otherwise crudely produced under wartime conditions.
The Gari Mon reference confirms this as a catalogued type, though Aldeire issues remain genuinely difficult to locate in any condition.
