| Obverse description | The upper portion carries the bold heading 'République Septentrionale d'Haïti' flanked by ornate guilloche borders, with the numeral '25' in an elaborate cartouche at upper right above a vignette of a palm tree within a heraldic shield. The central text field states the note's issuance under guarantee of the Septentrional Government and control of the Syndicat, with the denomination 'VINGT CINQ CENTIMES' in large bold letterpress; a ribbon at left bears the motto 'Liberté Égalité Fraternité' and 'Série A' appears at lower left. Three signature lines for the Délégué des Finances, Délégué du Syndicat, and Délégué du Conseil d'État run across the lower portion above the printer's imprint. |
