| Obverse description | Central device features a stylized caduceus — two intertwined serpents rising above a sunflower-like rosette with spread wings at the base — rendered in high relief in the Art Nouveau style of engraver Ovide Yencesse. The denomination '25 CENTIMES' is displayed prominently at the top of the field within the serpents' curves. The circular legend 'CHAMBRE DE COMMERCE DE DIJON' runs along the inner border, divided on either side of the central motif, with the date split '19 18' appearing at the bottom. The engraver's signature 'O. YENCESSE' is inscribed in small letters to the left of the central device. The coin exhibits a milled border. |
