Reverse description The reverse features a sweeping decorative branch of olive or laurel, rendered in naturalistic relief and occupying the left and lower portions of the field, its slender stems and detailed leaves gracefully curling around the central circular perforation. To the right of the hole, the denomination 25 is boldly expressed in large, stylised numerals, with CEN inscribed below in smaller capitals, together denoting 25 centimes. The engraver's signature A. MICHAUX appears along the lower exergue in small incuse capitals. The design is framed by a beaded inner border and a milled outer rim consistent with the obverse.
