| Obverse description | Printed on green paper with all text set within a plain black rectangular border in letterpress. The bilingual (French and Dutch) text block fills the face entirely, with the serial letter printed vertically along the right margin in black and the serial number in red. A committee validation stamp in red is applied to the note. |

Stedelijke hulp a/d. behoeftigen van Groot-Gent (ligne) GOED voor den aankoop van waren voor eene waarde van 1/4 frank uitsluitelijk in de winkels van het Plaatselijk Komiteit Gent-Groep en in de voedingsmagazijnen van de stad Gent en de gemeenten Ledeberg, Gentbrugge en St-Amandsberg. Deze bon is uitbetaalbaar a. de bureelen Kuipenkaai, n° 8 van 10 tot 12 uur, van 15 Juni tot den 15 August 1917 - Na dezen datum is hij waardeloos. Het schacheren opkoopen en verhandelen van deze bons te strafbaar. |
