Obverse description The national emblem of Oman occupies the central field, depicting two crossed khanjar daggers overlaid with a sword, surmounted by a royal crown at the apex. The dual Hijri and Gregorian dates ١٤١١هـ and ١٩٩٠م flank the emblem horizontally at centre. The legend سلطنة عمان (Sultanate of Oman) arcs across the upper field, with عمان (Oman) to the left and سلطنة (Sultanate) to the right. The denomination ٢٥ بيسة (25 Baisa) appears in the lower central field, with the issuer legend البنك المركزي العماني (Central Bank of Oman) inscribed along the lower periphery. A decorative dashed border frames the entire design.
