| Obverse description | Short-term 5% obligation of the Don Cossack Army (Всевеликое Войско Донское), with the double-headed eagle arms vignette at left. The central field is filled with Cyrillic letterpress text stating the denomination of 25,000 roubles, a maturity date of 1 April 1919, and the place of issue as Novocherkassk, dated 1 October 1918. Serial number, series designation, and manuscript signatures of financial officers appear in the lower portion, with fine-print redemption conditions at the foot of the note. |
