| Obverse description | The obverse displays the prancing horse of Hanover (the Saxon Steed) passant to the left in high relief, rendered in the bold Baroque style characteristic of late 17th-century German minting. The horse, with flowing mane and tail, occupies the central field and serves as the primary dynastic emblem of the House of Brunswick-Lüneburg.
