Obverse description The heraldic bear of Anhalt, crowned and collared, depicted walking left atop a crenellated castle wall rendered in fine detail, with an arched gateway visible at the base of the fortification. The bear is shown in a naturalistic, slightly raised profile with finely engraved fur texture. The composition fills the central field and is enclosed within a beaded border, with no peripheral legend on this side.
