Obverse description Two armored and draped busts of the co-ruling dukes facing one another in the center of the coin, each rendered in profile. The busts are separated by a beaded inner border that frames the central field. The date appears in the exergue below the busts, within a cartouche-style arc. A circular Latin legend runs along the outer border, giving the abbreviated names and titles of both rulers.
