Obverse description Draped bust of Rudolf VI, Count of Helfenstein, facing right, wearing ruffled collar and armour, with flowing hair. A circular Latin legend runs around the periphery within a beaded border. The portrait is rendered in the typical Kipper-period style, with shallow relief characteristic of hastily produced debased coinage of the early Thirty Years' War era.

Reverse description Crowned double-headed imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, bearing an orb on its breast inscribed with the numeral 24 denoting the coin's value in Kreuzer. The design follows the standard imperial eagle type common to German Kipper coinage of the 1620s.
