Obverse description Central field dominated by the Moravian chequered eagle displayed, with a small imperial eagle below. The chequered pattern of the shield fills the body of the eagle. The denomination numeral 24 appears in the lower field. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, reading MONETA NOVA REG ET MO MORAVIAE or similar, referring to the new coinage of the Moravian Estates.

Reverse description A column or obelisk monument surmounted by a crown and flanked by decorative foliate branches, centrally placed in the field. Below the monument appear the mintmaster's initials CC. The surrounding circular Latin legend includes the date 1619 and the motto VIREBO STANTE, referring to the flourishing of the Estates. The overall style is characteristic of early 17th-century Central European hammered coinage.
