Obverse description Crowned and armored bust of Frederick V, Elector Palatine and King of Bohemia, facing right, wearing a ruff collar and mantle with visible armor detail. The effigy is rendered in a robust, late Renaissance style characteristic of Bohemian hammered coinage of the early 17th century. The denomination numeral 24 appears in the lower field beneath the bust. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading the king's royal titles, interrupted by the bust at the base.

Reverse description Central quartered shield bearing the arms of Bohemia and the Palatinate — the Bohemian lion passant in the first and fourth quarters, and the Bavarian lozengy field in the second and third quarters — surmounted by a crowned helm or ornamental crest. The shield is set within a decorative frame. A circular Latin legend surrounds the composition, citing the full ducal and margravial titles of Frederick V, with the date 1620 incorporated into the legend.
