Reverse description Central device features the conjoined heraldic shields of Livonia and Estonia — the stepped Livonian griffin and the Estonian lion passant — displayed within oval cartouches and flanked by large spread eagle wings surmounted by an imperial crown. A branch of laurel or olive appears at the base of the shield composition. The denomination numeral 24 is placed in the lower exergual area, flanked by small decorative stops. The date 1757 appears to the right of the central device, with the circular Latin legend MONETA · LIVOESTHONICA running along the upper periphery. The overall design reflects the regional coinage style issued for the Baltic provinces under Empress Elizabeth.
