| Obverse description | Bare laureate head of Zeus facing right, rendered in the Hellenistic tradition with finely detailed hair bound by a laurel wreath and a dotted border encircling the flan. A deeply struck oval countermark appears in the left field, depicting a radiate wheel of four spokes, applied as a secondary validation mark. The portrait displays strong facial features characteristic of civic bronze coinage of the western Pontic region. |
