| Obverse description | Draped bust of a deity facing left, depicted in a Punico-Hellenistic style with a turreted or polos crown atop the head, rendered in low relief. The figure is shown with schematic facial features characteristic of the late Punic artistic tradition. A dotted border encircles the design, framing the central effigy within the irregular flan. No legend appears on the obverse. The overall style reflects the syncretistic iconography of the western Mediterranean during the late Republican period. |

| Reverse description | The Latin ethnic legend COSSVRA is inscribed horizontally across the central field, identifying the issuing city of Cossura (modern Pantelleria). The inscription is enclosed within a wreath of olive or laurel branches, tied at the base, rendered in a schematic but recognizable style. The wreath nearly fills the flan, with branches extending symmetrically to either side. No additional symbols or secondary inscriptions are present in the field. The surface retains an olive-brown patina with areas of green encrustation consistent with prolonged burial. |
