Obverse description Head of a youthful male deity, most probably Apollon or Dionysos, facing right, with flowing curly hair adorned with what appears to be a wreath or vine. The portrait is rendered in a Hellenistic style with naturalistic facial features. The flan is irregular with a rough, pitted surface characteristic of ancient bronze coinage from the Black Sea region.
