Reverse description The elaborately detailed quartered coat of arms of the Kingdom of Saxony, displaying the traditional Saxon arms with the rautenkranz bend, set upon an ermine-lined royal mantle draped and gathered at both sides. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown. The date 1842 appears in the lower field, separated by an order star at center. The denomination legend 'ZWEI UND EIN HALB. THALER' arcs around the upper periphery, enclosed within a beaded border.
