Obverse description Central field displays a snow lion passant facing left, rendered in relief within a raised inner circle. The lion's mane and tail are depicted with stylized linear detailing characteristic of Tibetan iconography. Four groups of dot-crosses occupy the quadrants between the inner circle and the scalloped coin border. Tibetan script legends are arranged around the periphery, reading the Tibetan calendar date corresponding to Cycle 15, Year 52.
