Reverse description Laureate and draped bust of a female allegorical figure representing Central America, facing left, with elaborately coiffed hair adorned with a laurel wreath. The legend AMERICA CENTRAL is disposed in two arcs flanking the effigy, with AMERICA to the left and CENTRAL to the right. The denomination 2.50 PESOS appears in the lower exergue, separated by a beaded border from the coin's milled edge.
