| Reverse description | Central device depicts the Imperial Iranian state emblem: a lion passant to the right, holding an upright scimitar in its right forepaw, set against a radiant rising sun with rays fanning outward behind the figure. Above the lion, the Pahlavi imperial crown is shown in detail. The entire central group is flanked by a wreath composed of an olive branch to the left and an oak branch to the right, joined at the base, enclosing a plain field below the lion. A finely milled border surrounds the reverse. No legend or date appears on this pattern piece. |
