Obverse description Left-facing uniformed bust of King Fuad I wearing a tarboosh (fez), set within an octagonal milled border. The Arabic legend to the right reads his royal title, and a secondary inscription appears to the left of the effigy. The engraver's initials 'PM' (Percy Metcalfe) are visible in the lower field. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail on the military uniform and facial features.

Reverse description The large Arabic denomination '2 1/2' dominates the central field, flanked on either side by the dual dates: the Hijri year 1352 to the right and the Gregorian year 1933 to the left. The legend 'المملكة المصرية' (Kingdom of Egypt) arcs across the upper portion of the field, while 'مليمات مصرية' (Egyptian Milliemes) appears in the lower portion, all contained within an octagonal milled border.
