Obverse description The right-facing intaglio portrait of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk occupies the right portion of the note, set against a fine guilloche underprint in mauve. The denomination numeral '2½' appears in large letterpress print at upper centre, flanked by corner vignettes bearing the value '2½ TÜRK LİRASI'. Three manuscript signature lines for UMUM MÜDÜR, UMUM MÜDÜR MUAVİNİ, and EMİSYON VEZNESİ MUDURU appear below the central text, with the serial number and series prefix printed in two locations.
