Obverse description Central field features the crowned arms of Brandenburg-Bayreuth within an ornate baroque cartouche, displaying the Hohenzollern quartered shield surmounted by a marquarial crown. The eagle of Brandenburg is prominently rendered within the escutcheon, with finely detailed baroque scrollwork framing the shield on all sides. The mint mark B appears at the base of the design. The circular legend surrounding the arms reads NACH DEM CONVENTIONS FVS, referring to the Conventionsthaler monetary standard, with the lettering arranged along the coin's milled border.
