Obverse description Draped bust of Prince-Bishop Frederick Charles of Schönborn facing right, wearing a lace cravat and episcopal vestments adorned with intricate decorative detail, the hair rendered in elaborate long curls in the baroque manner. The peripheral legend encircles the effigy, reading FRID CAR D G EP BAMB & H S R I PR F O D, abbreviating his full titulature as Bishop of Bamberg and Würzburg and Prince of the Holy Roman Empire.

Reverse description The quartered arms of the Prince-Bishopric displayed on an ornate baroque shield, surmounted by a princely crown with cross finial and flanked by a draped ermine mantle. The denomination '2 1/2 Gul' appears at the base of the shield within the field, while the circumferential legend reads CANDIDE & CORDATE PRO FIDE & PATRIA with the date 1735, expressing the bishop's motto 'Openly and sincerely for faith and fatherland.'
