Obverse description The obverse features a stylized architectural motif depicting a rounded arch supported by two ornate columns, reminiscent of the arcaded facades characteristic of Lisbon's Pombaline architecture. Within the arch, the Portuguese coat of arms is displayed in relief. Centered below the arch, the denomination '2½ EURO' is inscribed, with the year '2010' beneath. The legend 'PORTUGAL' runs along the lower rim, while the engravers' signatures 'ISABEL C.' and 'F. BRANCO' appear to the right, and the mint mark 'INCM' to the left.
