| Obverse description | The obverse depicts a dynamic scene of a football goalkeeper diving full-stretch to make a save, rendered in high relief against a stylized net filling the field. A football is shown at the upper left near the goalkeeper's outstretched hands. At the top of the coin, the circular arms of the Portuguese Republic shield appear within an ornate globe-like framework, serving as the national emblem.
