| Obverse description | Draped bust of Queen Isabella II facing right, her hair elaborately braided and gathered at the nape with a ribbon, uncrowned. The legend ISABEL II POR LA GRACIA DE DIOS Y LA CONST. curves along the upper periphery, while the date 1867 appears in the lower exergue. The portrait is rendered in a refined neoclassical style with delicate high relief, surrounded by a continuous beaded border. |
