Obverse description A nude female figure representing Natura rises frontally at centre, holding a draped veil above her head within a wreath-framed upper cartouche set against a garden background. Below, four classically draped muses are seated on stepped terraces on either side of a theatrical mask in high relief, engaged in contemplation and study. The composition is rendered in fine cast relief within an irregularly shaped rectangular plaquette.
