| Reverse description | A finely modelled truncated bust of the celebrated Polish composer Fryderyk Chopin is presented in right-facing profile, rendered with artistic sensitivity by sculptor Jerzy Jarnuszkiewicz. The subject's distinctive flowing hair and refined facial features are depicted in high relief against a smooth field. The inscription FRYDERYK CHOPIN arcs along the upper periphery, interspersed with bullet-point separators, while the word PRÓBA (trial) appears vertically to the left of the bust, denoting the pattern status of the piece. The composer's birth and death years, 1810 and 1849, are inscribed in the lower field flanking the base of the bust. |
