Obverse description The obverse displays the Polish state emblem, a stylised crowned eagle with wings displayed, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The date 1977 is divided on either side of the eagle's lower body, flanked by the mint mark. The denomination 2000 ZŁ appears in large numerals along the lower portion of the field. The circular legend reads POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA, interrupted by raised dot separators, disposed along the upper periphery.
