| Reverse description | Half-length effigy of Duke Mieszko I, first historical ruler of Poland, facing slightly to the left and depicted in medieval armour with a cloak draped over his shoulders. The Duke holds an upright sword in his right hand and a shield bearing a cross motif at his left side, conveying regal and martial authority. His head is adorned with a conical helmet with chainmail coif. The legend 'MIESZKO I' appears vertically along the left field, with the regnal dates '960-992' inscribed along the upper right.
