Obverse description A detailed intaglio vignette at left shows a Chinese city gate tower set within an ornate scrollwork frame, with figures visible in the foreground. To the right, the denomination 貳仟圓 (Two Thousand Yuan) is rendered in large characters against a multicolour guilloche underprint in green and orange. Two red seal chops appear below the central vignette area, and denomination numerals in Chinese characters occupy oval cartouches at each corner.

Reverse description A central intaglio vignette presents a sweeping panoramic view of the Great Wall of China winding across mountainous terrain, rendered in fine line engraving. Large denomination panels bearing 貳仟圓 in Chinese characters flank the central scene within elaborately guilloche-patterned cartouches on both left and right. Signature titles and names appear to either side of the vignette, with the numeral 2000 inscribed at the base within a decorative border.
