Obverse description Central field depicts a highly detailed frontal view of the Musikverein concert hall in Vienna, rendered with fine architectural precision showing the Classical pediment, ornate frieze, engaged columns, and decorative sculptural elements of the facade. The legend REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH arcs along the upper periphery in bold relief lettering. In the lower field, the denomination 2000 SCHILLING curves along the bottom rim, while the inscription 1 UNZE GOLD 999.9 and the date of issue appear in two lines at center below the building. The overall design exemplifies the refined engraving style characteristic of Austrian Mint artisanship.
