| Obverse description | Central field features the traditional Nepalese coin design arranged in a cruciform grid pattern, incorporating the royal cypher and regnal titles of King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev in Devanagari script. Auspicious symbols occupy the quadrants flanking the central motif, including a conch shell, a lotus flower, a dharma wheel, and a ceremonial implement. The Vikrama Samvat date 2054 appears at the base of the design. The entire composition is framed by an inner dotted border and a raised outer rim. |
