Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Juan Carlos I and Crown Prince Felipe in right-facing profile, rendered in high relief against a deeply mirrored proof field. The effigies are shown in civilian dress, with the King positioned in the foreground and the Crown Prince slightly behind. The circumferential legend JUAN CARLOS I REY DE ESPAÑA arcs around the upper border in raised Latin characters, while the date 1990 appears in the lower field flanked by two raised dots.
