| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of President Chen Shui-bian and Vice President Annette Lu facing slightly toward the viewer, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The male figure appears to the left wearing a suit and tie, the female figure to the right in a patterned blouse with a bow. A circular Chinese legend surrounds the busts along the periphery, reading the title of the 11th-term President and Vice President of the Republic of China. Below the busts, two lines of Chinese characters in the field record the third direct popular election and the inauguration date of 20 May of the 93rd year of the Republic. |
