| Obverse description | The central field features the coat of arms of the Republic of Cameroon rendered in high relief within an ornate Baroque cartouche of acanthus scrollwork and stylized waves. The shield displays crossed fasces and a sword beneath a star, with the bilingual motto PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND inscribed across the escutcheon, and the legends REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON / REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN appearing on a scroll at the base. A banner above the shield bears the inscription FINE SILVER flanking a monogram.
