| Obverse description | A Renaissance-style radiant sun occupies the center of the field, rendered in high relief with gilded finish; the sun displays a human face in the classical tradition, encircled by a beaded border and surrounded by sixteen alternating straight and wavy rays. Eight symbols of the Muses are distributed around the inner field between the rays, including a lyre, a laurel branch, a globe, a flute, a scroll, theatrical masks, a book, and a harp, all finished in gilt. The textured outer border bears the circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN 2025 along the upper arc, with 2 oz, 2000 FRANCS CFA, and Ag 999 distributed along the lower arc. |
