The Muldahara — more properly Muladhara — is the root chakra in Hindu and tantric Buddhist traditions, the first of seven energy centers mapped along the spine. Cameroon has no cultural or historical connection to this iconography whatsoever; the coin exists purely as a bullion-adjacent collectible produced for the European novelty market, issued under a licensing arrangement that sells Cameroonian legal tender status to foreign minting operations.
The Swarovski crystal inserts are contractually authenticated by the Austrian firm's licensing program, which has been attached to dozens of such issues across multiple African nominal issuers since the mid-2000s.
