| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a highly detailed, ornate imperial throne with a colored crimson-red quilted seat and gilded baroque frame, surmounted by a crown at the apex. Two gilded lion heads form the armrests, and a skull entwined by a serpent appears prominently at the base of the throne. Crossed weapons — including spears and a sword — are depicted in the background field to either side, alongside treasure chests and a chalice rendered in antique finish. The circular legend at left reads REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN, with denomination and fineness inscriptions arranged at right and the date 2024 appearing in the lower exergue. |

Cameroon has no historical connection to the Mongol Empire whatsoever — this is a bullion and collector issue produced entirely for the international numismatic market, a practice Cameroon's mint authority has pursued aggressively since the 2010s. The republic licenses its sovereign authority to issue legal tender to private minting firms, most often European, who then sell themed coins to collectors with no domestic circulation intended. The face value bears no relation to any actual monetary function.
At 62.20 g of .999 silver with selective gilding, this sits squarely in the two-troy-ounce novelty tier that dominates this segment of the secondary market.
