| Obverse description | The coat of arms of Cameroon occupies the central field, depicting a shield bearing a balance scale and a sword, surmounted by a five-pointed star, and flanked by two crossed fasces with axe heads. A bilingual scroll beneath the arms bears the legends REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON and REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN. The national motto appears in both French and English in three parts around the upper field: PAIX / PEACE, TRAVAIL / WORK, and PATRIE / FATHERLAND. The circular legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper rim, while the denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA is inscribed in large raised letters along the lower rim. The date 2022 and the fineness mark Ag 999 appear in the lower central field. |
