| Obverse description | Central field features an elaborate baroque-style floral rosette composed of swirling acanthus leaves and blossoms radiating symmetrically from a central floret, rendered in high relief with fine detail. The legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination 2000 FRANCS CFA AG 999 2 OZ curves along the lower periphery, with the date 2021 inscribed in the lower central field beneath the floral motif. The coin is framed by a broad decorative border of stylised lotus petals with a beaded inner ring, giving the obverse an ornate, neoclassical aesthetic. |

The "Fortuna Redux" type — Fortune the Returner — was one of Rome's most politically loaded cult invocations, deployed by emperors to signal safe return from campaign or exile. Cameroon's adoption of the motif sits in a well-established tradition of Central African franc-zone issues using classical allegory to anchor bullion coins in a recognizable European collector market rather than any domestic monetary context.
KM#419 was struck by a European private mint under license, as is standard for Cameroonian commemorative silver of this period. Mintage figures for the series were not publicly disclosed at release.
