| Reverse description | The reverse bears a finely modelled bust of Hugonnai Vilma (1847–1922) in three-quarter view facing slightly left, her hair pinned up in period style, holding a sprig of laurel in her right hand as a symbol of achievement. The inscription AZ ELSŐ MAGYAR ORVOSNŐ, meaning 'The First Hungarian Female Physician,' arcs along the upper field as the principal legend. Her birth and death years 1847 and 1922 are arranged vertically at the left, while her name HUGONNAI VILMA appears in two lines to the right of the portrait. The engraver's monogram is visible in the lower right field. |
