Reverse description The reverse displays the Imperial Iranian state emblem: a lion passant to the right, holding an upraised sword in its right forepaw, set against a radiant rising sun whose rays fan out behind the lion's body — the celebrated 'Shir o Khorshid' (Lion and Sun) motif central to Qajar numismatic iconography. Above the central device, a Qajar crown surmounts the composition. The entire central design is encircled by a wreath composed of oak and laurel branches tied at the base. Below the lion, within the lower portion of the wreath, an Arabic legend in the exergue records the denomination '2000 Dinars,' while the AH regnal date appears within the field. The coin's inner border is defined by a fine beaded circle.
