| Obverse description | Three-quarter facing bust of Mohammad Ali Shah Qajar, turned slightly to the left, wearing a tall astrakhan hat and military uniform with decorations visible at the collar. The effigy is rendered in a European medallic style consistent with the work of engraver Alphonse Michaux. The Persian date ۱۳۲۶ appears to the left of the bust in the field, with the engraver's initials 'A. M.' incuse at the lower right. A beaded border runs along the inner edge of the coin. |
