Obverse description Facing bust of Ahmad Shah Qajar in military uniform adorned with epaulettes and decorations, wearing the distinctive Qajar crown surmounted by a jeweled aigrette with fan-shaped plume. The effigy is framed by an open wreath of laurel and oak branches. The Arabic legend curves along the upper periphery, and the date in Eastern Arabic numerals (١٣٣٧) appears in the lower exergue.

Reverse description The Lion and Sun device of imperial Iran occupies the central field, depicting a standing lion in profile facing left, brandishing an upraised sword, with a radiant sun rising behind its back. A Pahlavi crown surmounts the device above. The central motif is enclosed within an open wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base. The denomination legend in Arabic script appears in the lower portion of the field within the wreath, with a fine milled border encircling the entire design.
