Obverse description The crowned Polish eagle with wings spread, facing right, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field, occupies the centre of the obverse. The date 1980 is divided by the eagle's talons, with '19' to the left and '80' to the right. The denomination '200 ZŁ' appears in large numerals along the lower arc of the coin. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The design was engraved by Stanisława Wątróbska-Frindt and struck to Proof standard.
